About us
A comfortable and charming apartment at Talloires, Lake Annecy
Côte et Lac is a cosy apartment at the ground floor of our family house recently renovated, featuring modern design interiors. Located on the sunny heights of Lake Annecy, in a quiet and residential area, less than 2 km from Talloires village, lakeshore and beaches.
It offers a strategic position to visit Annecy town, the lake and moutains areas as Les Bauges and Les Aravis with their breathtaking views on the Lake Annecy, the Mont-Blanc and the charming villages of Haute-Savoie.
We are a couple from Haute-Savoie enjoying nature and meet people. We will be very happy to give you some tips in order to make your stay unique.

The apartment has an area of 47 m2, it is comfortable for 2 people and could accomodate a baby. It is fully-equipped so you could enjoy your holidays.
From the private terrace, you’ll enjoy a pleasant view over the lake or the Roc de Chère.

- Departure time is scheduled at 11:00 am at the latest.
- Late or early arrivals, to drop off your luggages for example, need prior agreement with the hosts.
Internal rules
The apartment is located at the ground floor of our house. Although it is entirely independent, our family welcom you in its home. In this way, we invite you to enjoy the living areas in an atmosphere of respect and co-operation.
The apartment is a non-smoking area, and pets are not accepted.

Situation & Activities
On the sunny hillside of Lake Annecy, the gîte is located in the heights of Talloires village, a tiny and historic village where the four seasons reveal all their charms to you.
Here, the nature offers beautiful views, mountains, waterfalls, natural reserve and many outdoor sports are possible (land-based, nauticals, by air).
Between lake and mountains, build a new program everyday ! Sport or leisure, many activities can make your journey unforgettable, all easily accessibles from the accomodation.
Restaurants
Talloires is a well-preserved village where there are legendary places of haute cuisine as the Auberge du Père Bise and the Abbaye of Talloires. You could also find family-friendly restaurants, inns and small cafés nearby the water’s edge or in the mountain.
Cultural sites
From the gîte, you’ll have access to many cultural sites that are well worth a visit! In Talloires village, the town church dedicated to Saint-Maurice holds several polychromatic wood sculptures from the 18th century. Just above the gîte, you’ll find the Saint-Germain Hermitage and its chapel, which was renovated under the impetus of Francis de Sales in 1641, on top of its 11th-century foundations. In the neighbouring town you’ll be able to visit the Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard, which overlooks the Talloires Bay. Finally, also nearby Talloires is located a hotspot of French Resistance, the Glières Plateau. The Department Memorial and Resistance and Deportation Museum are located on the road to Thônes. On the Plateau, you’ll be able to visit the Resistance National Monument. Many trekking paths allow you to explore the routes of members of the Resistance.
Adventure
Many adventure activities are available nearby the accomodation : paragliding, hang-gliding, canyoning, climbing, speleology, diving, sailing, balloon, etc. We can inform you !
Towards mountains top
Towering over the gîte is the iconic 2,351m-tall Tournette’s summit and the abrupt faces of the Dents de Lanfon. Multiple treks of various difficulty levels are available in these two massifs. There are also numerous climbing routes in the area. Just a few minutes by car from the gîte, you can reach the Col de la Forclaz and its magnificent panoramic view over the lake. Furthermore, it is a famous take-off spot for paragliders who usually lend right at 200 meters from the gîte, on the Perroix site.
A little further, 30 km away, you’ll have easy access to the Aravis Range. This is also a starting point to multiple, widely varied treks, including easy walks for inexperienced trekkers. On your way there, follow the scenic road: set out for Thônes, the town of reblochon cheese, then climb towards Manigod and the Col de la Croix Fry before reaching the Col des Aravis, where a lot of trails start from. One of them can be walked by the whole family, including small children, and will take you, in 30-40 mn, to an exceptional viewing point, across the Mont Blanc massif.
At the water's edge
The gîte is located at 1,5 km from the lake shore, approx. 15 mn by walk or 5 mn by car. At the harbor of Talloires and at the nautical club, you could pratice many nautical activities (catamaran, kayak, canoe rides, stand-up paddle, water ski) to explore the lake and his hidden corners. There are direct accesses to the lake from several beaches, for the families pleasure.
Sport equipment renting
Less than 15 mn from the gîte there are several shops where you could rent the sport equipment : bikes, mountain bike, skis, material for via ferrata. We can inform you !

The location of the gîte allows you to visit others wellknown areas with maximum 30 mn by car :
